Israeli forces uncovered and destroyed a sprawling Hezbollah underground infrastructure in the village of Majdal Zun in southern Lebanon, near civilian homes. The operation was carried out under fire conditions and amid recent serious incidents, according to the report, which described the site as a fortified Hezbollah stronghold.
Inside the tunnels, dug beneath residential buildings, soldiers found weapons stores, ammunition, and dozens of explosive drones that were reportedly ready to be launched at Israel. The report said the network had been excavated over years for one purpose, to attack Israel, and that the weapons hidden there were intended for use when ordered.
The footage, filmed alongside the troops, showed the soldiers moving step by step into the underground complex. The report portrayed the site as a major threat, with large quantities of arms, machine guns, and ammunition uncovered inside.
Over the past 24 hours, the forces completed the destruction of the compound and neutralized the threat in the area. The report said the underground nest no longer poses a danger.
