Severe Heatwave Hits Israel With Peak Temperatures Expected Saturday

On Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath, temperatures will again be hot to very hot inland and in the mountains, with mild coastal weather. An additional intensification of the heat stress is forecast, with heavy to extreme heat conditions expected nationwide.

Forecasted temperatures include Jerusalem at 18-32°C, Tel Aviv 24-31°C, Beersheba 21-35°C, Haifa 23-31°C, Tiberias 22-37°C, Safed 18-33°C, and Eilat reaching a high of 41°C. Residents are advised to prepare for the severe heatwave and take necessary precautions.
