IDF Eliminates Hamas Commanders Involved in Oct. 7 Attack and Hostage Holding
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced earlier this week that it had eliminated two Hamas operatives in the Gaza City area. On Wednesday, the IDF targeted and killed Adham Zabhi Salim Ziyara, identified as an operative in Hamas's military wing. The following day, Thursday, Hassan Mahmoud Ziam, a commander in the same military wing, was also killed in an IDF strike in Gaza City.
Both operatives were involved in the October 7th massacre, having infiltrated Israeli territory. During the ongoing conflict, they were also implicated in the holding of Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip. The hostages mentioned include Amit Soussana, Keith Siegel, Aviva Siegel, and Daphna Elyakim.
