IDF Kills Two Hamas Operatives in Gaza, One Involved in Hostage Holding

Early this week, Israeli forces conducted an airstrike in the Gaza City area, eliminating two operatives from Hamas's military wing. One of those killed was Hassan Mahmoud Ziam, identified as a commander within the terrorist organization's military arm. Ziam had infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th massacre and was involved in holding hostages Amit Soussana, Keith Siegel, Aviva Siegel, and Daphna Elyakim captive in Gaza.

In a separate strike in the same area, Adham Zahi Salim Ziara, another operative in the military wing, was also killed. According to Israeli reports, both Ziam and Ziara had recently been working to rebuild Hamas's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement and advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. Their activities included attempts to fire on Israeli forces and planting explosives near the Gaza border fence.

These operations underscore ongoing efforts by Israeli forces to dismantle Hamas's military infrastructure and target individuals involved in attacks and hostage-taking.
