Israeli Security Forces Arrest Teen Suspected of Planning Attack

Israeli security forces have arrested a 19-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim in recent weeks on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack. The joint operation by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the Israel Police revealed that the suspect, Mustafa Issa, was in the planning stages of carrying out an attack.

According to the investigation, Issa was significantly influenced by the "Guardian of the Walls" operation and the October 7th Hamas attacks. During his arrest, investigators seized a significant amount of training equipment and airsoft weapons from his possession. His mobile phone contained searches for combat guides and downloaded instructions for manufacturing explosive devices.

Further investigation indicated that Issa had attempted to produce explosive devices using various materials and had shared this information with others. Following his interrogation by the Shin Bet and the Sharon District Police, a statement of intent to indict was filed at the Central District Court, signaling an impending indictment.

Both the Shin Bet and the Israel Police issued a joint statement emphasizing their zero-tolerance policy towards any Israeli citizen involved in activities that endanger national security. They affirmed their commitment to thwarting all threats and prosecuting those involved to the fullest extent of the law.
