Israeli Security Forces Arrest Kafr Qasim Man for Alleged Attack Plot
Israeli police and the Shin Bet security agency announced the arrest of a young man from Kafr Qasim on suspicion of planning an attack. During the arrest, authorities seized equipment allegedly used for training and "airsoft" weapons.
Investigators discovered the suspect had used his mobile phone to search for combat instructions and download related materials. The probe revealed he also downloaded files detailing how to construct explosive devices and conducted experiments to produce them. The Shin Bet stated the suspect involved others in these activities as part of his alleged attack planning.
The investigation, a joint effort between the Shin Bet and the central district's YAMAR unit, concluded with the filing of an intent to indict statement with the Central District Court. This legal step precedes the formal indictment of the suspect.
