Dor Peretz is expected to decide by Sunday whether to accept Dinamo Zagreb's offer. The midfielder arrived in the Croatian capital on Thursday morning with his wife and his agent, Avi Naimni, then held several meetings with club officials and toured the team's facilities.
Peretz must choose between Dinamo Zagreb and two other offers he currently has. The Croatian club is offering him a two-year contract worth about 750,000 euros net per season, and it wants an answer by Sunday evening.
It is still unclear whether Peretz will return to Israel immediately after the visit or continue on to another destination where another club is interested in signing him. Maccabi Tel Aviv are following the situation and are expected to improve their offer to the captain, but it may already be too late.
His handling of the situation in recent weeks could lead him to leave the club and Israel for the second time in his career. He previously played abroad in Venezia five years ago.
