Dinamo Zagreb president Zvonimir Boban has confirmed that Israel midfielder Dor Peretz is a serious target for the Croatian club. Peretz, who recently spent several days in Croatia examining offers, is out of contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv and could sign with Dinamo Zagreb.
According to a Croatian report, Boban made the remarks during a closed event for season-ticket holders. He said the club is actively pursuing Peretz, that talks are underway between the sides, and that Dinamo hope to reach an agreement and complete the transfer.
The same report said Peretz is also drawing interest from other clubs, including Omonia Nicosia and Ferencváros. Even so, his future remains undecided, and it is still possible he will stay at Maccabi Tel Aviv and continue in the blue and yellow next season.
