Dor Peretz is facing a decisive few days over where he will play next season, with a final answer expected no later than Tuesday, about 48 hours from now. The midfielder, who has been a standout for Maccabi Tel Aviv in recent years, is weighing offers from Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dinamo Zagreb, Omonia Nicosia and Ferencvaros.
At the moment, Maccabi Tel Aviv has not yet submitted a new offer, and Peretz’s representatives are waiting in the hope that an improved proposal will arrive. If it does, it could change the entire picture and keep him with the yellow-and-blue club.
The club understands Peretz’s importance on and off the pitch and that there is no comparable Israeli replacement at his level, so it may still choose to push hard to retain him. If no upgraded offer arrives by Tuesday, Peretz is expected to choose one of the overseas options.
Dinamo Zagreb is currently seen as the most attractive foreign destination for him.
