Midfielder Dor Peretz is at a decisive stage in his career and is expected to choose where he will play next season by Tuesday at the latest, about 48 hours from now. Several clubs are competing for him, including Maccabi Tel Aviv, Dinamo Zagreb, Omonia Nicosia and Ferencvaros.
Peretz, who has starred for Maccabi Tel Aviv in recent years, is currently waiting for an improved offer from the club. As of now, Maccabi Tel Aviv has not yet submitted a new proposal, and his representatives are hoping one will still arrive. They believe such an offer could completely change the picture and keep him at the club.
Maccabi Tel Aviv views Peretz as an important player on and off the field, and understands that there is no comparable Israeli replacement at his level. Because of that, the club may still decide to make the move and fight to retain him.
If no upgraded offer comes by Tuesday, Peretz is expected to pick one of the foreign options. At the moment, Dinamo Zagreb’s offer is described as the most attractive one for him.
