Likud Holds Steady in New Poll After Candidate Lists Finalized

A new poll conducted by i24NEWS, through the Direct Polls research institute led by Tzuriiel Sharon, shows the Likud party maintaining its position as the largest party in Israel with 27 seats, unchanged from a previous survey on September 2nd. The survey was released one day after the deadline for finalizing candidate lists for the upcoming elections.

In other party shifts, Benny Gantz's National Unity party lost one seat, now holding 22 mandates, while Naftali Bennett's party gained one seat to reach 10. The Democratic party remains stable with 9 seats, as does United Torah Judaism with 8. Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party gained one seat, also reaching 8 mandates.

Several parties held their ground: Yisrael Beiteinu, Shas, and the Joint List each secured 7 seats. The Religious Zionism and Identity alliance maintained 6 seats, and Ra'am stayed at 5 seats. Avi Maoz's Noam party, previously polling at 5 seats, dropped to 4 seats, losing one mandate.

Parties failing to cross the electoral threshold include HaMihaylanim and HaKalkalit, both at 1.4%, and Blue and White with only 1.1%. Several smaller parties received less than 1% of the vote.

The bloc map remains unchanged from the previous week, with a tie between the potential coalition and opposition. The coalition bloc is projected to receive 60 seats, the opposition 48, and Arab parties 12 seats.

The poll surveyed 1,054 adult respondents across Israel between September 9th and 10th, 2026, with a statistical margin of error of plus or minus 3.0% at a 95% confidence level.
