Likud Taps Wounded Reservist Elisha Medan for Knesset List
The Likud party has announced its newest candidate for the Knesset, Elisha Medan, a reservist fighter and co-founder of the Avigail settlement in the Hebron region.
Medan was critically injured during an operational activity in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip. In the same incident, four of his comrades were killed, and Medan lost both his legs.
Following a lengthy rehabilitation process, Medan became a symbol of strength, determination, and faith. He is now expected to be integrated into the Likud's Knesset list through a reserved spot allocated by the party.
