Wounded Reservist Elisha Medan Joins Likud Party List
Elisha Medan, a reservist fighter and co-founder of the Avigail settlement in the Hebron Hills, is joining the Likud party list as a designated candidate. Medan was critically wounded during operational activity in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza Strip. In the same incident, four of his comrades were killed, and he lost both his legs.
Following his severe injury, Medan underwent a lengthy and complex rehabilitation process. His personal story became a symbol of strength, determination, and resilience. Alongside his personal recovery, he chose to continue working to strengthen and provide hope to many within Israeli society.
Medan, who was previously chosen to light the torch of healing and rehabilitation and has received honors for his actions and bravery, brings an extraordinary life story to the Likud list. He also brings values of dedication, responsibility, love for the land, and camaraderie. Moving from the battlefield to the public arena, Medan is expected to be a prominent figure on the Likud list in the upcoming elections.
