Likud Party Taps Critically Wounded IDF Reservist Elisha Medan for Knesset List
The Likud party announced on Tuesday that it has reserved a spot on its list for the 26th Knesset for Elisha Medan, a reservist fighter and one of the founders of the Avigail settlement in the Hebron Hills. Medan was critically wounded during an operation in northern Gaza, losing both his legs and sustaining severe injuries. Four other soldiers were killed in the same incident.
Medan, who lit a torch at the 77th Independence Day ceremony, has undergone a lengthy rehabilitation process.
