Wounded Gaza Combat Medic Joins Likud Party Knesset List
Elisha Medan, a reserve combat soldier who sustained life-threatening injuries and lost both his legs during a battle in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza, has been placed on the Likud party's list for the Knesset. Medan, also a founder of the Avigail settlement in the Hebron Hills, was wounded during operational activity in northern Gaza, an incident that also claimed the lives of four of his comrades.
Since his injury, Medan has undergone an extensive rehabilitation process, becoming a symbol of determination, faith, and willpower.
