Israeli Soldier Who Lost Both Legs in Gaza Celebrates One Year Recovery Dancing with Friends
Elkana Levi, a student at Yeruham Yeshiva who was severely injured in fighting in Gaza, marked one year since his injury with an emotional gathering at Havat Avichai. Levi lost both legs and suffered an eye injury during the combat. The event was attended by friends and featured singer Ravid Plotnik performing songs for the participants. During the celebration, Levi was seen lifted on a chair, dancing alongside his friends. A video from the event shows Levi dancing with his father, Rabbi Moshe Levi, head of Herzliya Yeshiva. The gathering commemorated the anniversary of Levi's injury with close companions present.
