Singer Ravid Plotnik Joins Israeli Hero Elkana Levy in Emotional Gaza Injury Anniversary Event

An emotional thanksgiving event was held at Avichai Farm in the Binyamin region to mark one year since Israeli hero Elkana Levy was severely wounded in battles in the Gaza Strip, where he lost both legs. The event was attended by singer Ravid Plotnik, who embraced Levy and joined him and his comrades from Company 8, Battalion 13, in singing the heartfelt song "Peace in Your Beliefs." The lyrics expressed wishes for peace, blessings, and support for the soldier.

Family, friends, and supporters surrounded Levy during the celebration, which focused on honoring life, faith, and the journey he has undertaken since that day. Avichai Farm is one of several strategic farms established in Binyamin to strengthen the area between the mountain ridge and central Israel, including Ben Gurion Airport, as part of bolstering settlement continuity and territorial presence.

Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, praised Levy as embodying the full spirit of Israel, highlighting his bravery both on the battlefield and in daily life through faith and resilience. He emphasized that Avichai Farm, as a place of Zionism and life, was the fitting venue for this moving occasion. The Farms Association, which shared the event video, stated that Levy exemplifies true heroism not only in combat but also through mental strength, hope, and the choice to rise every day, inspiring all of Israel.
