Aviv Geffen Performs in Eilat, Dedicates Song to Fallen Soldier
At the “Fattal Rock” festival in Eilat last weekend, Aviv Geffen performed with his band HaTevoyot and was also spotted relaxing barefoot in the hotel lobby and around the resort before the show, wearing a pink button-down shirt and jeans.
During the concert, Geffen dedicated the song “Mahar” to the memory of Sgt. Nahorai Laser. He held a flag brought by Laser’s family, who were in the audience. “He really loved the song, and I want to dedicate it to him,” Geffen said before performing it, adding, “As someone who lost his father, I know what loss is, what pain is, and what a great lack it leaves. But he loves you. And only for him, keep living your lives.”
The article also notes that the 51-year-old singer recently had a new personal milestone, when his daughter Moon Roth was born in April. She is his second child with his wife, Sharon Kaufman, and a younger sister to his three older children, Dylan, Elliot and John.
