Wounded IDF Hero Elisha Madan Joins Likud Party List
Elisha Madan, a decorated soldier severely wounded during the 'Swords of Iron' war, has officially joined the Likud party's Knesset list, securing the 11th position. Madan, son of Rabbi Yaakov Madan, head of the Har Etzion yeshiva, has become a symbol of heroism and recovery.
Madan sustained life-threatening injuries from an explosive device while serving in the northern Gaza Strip. The incident resulted in the deaths of four fellow soldiers and the loss of both of Madan's legs.
