IDF Launches Surprise Drill to Test Multi-Front War Readiness
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a surprise, large-scale drill early Sunday morning, codenamed "Dawn's Rise 2.0," to test the military's readiness for a sudden, multi-front conflict. The exercise, ordered by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, aims to evaluate the preparedness of the General Staff and main commands, reserve forces, and the ability to respond to complex, widespread scenarios.

The Chief of Staff is observing the exercise's management from the IDF's Supreme Command post and in the field.
