Israeli Footballer Anan Halaily Signs With Italian Champions Inter Milan

Israeli winger Anan Halaily has officially signed with Inter Milan, the reigning champions of Italy's Serie A. The 21-year-old's transfer from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise reportedly cost Inter 25 million euros. Halaily's move follows two successful seasons in Belgium, where he appeared in 99 matches and scored eight goals, including six in the most recent season. During his time at Union Saint-Gilloise, he won the Belgian league title and the Belgian Cup, and also scored in the UEFA Champions League.

Halaily, who developed in the youth system of Maccabi Haifa, first gained international attention during the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He helped Israel reach the semifinals, scoring twice against Uzbekistan and Brazil. After the tournament, he played his first senior season with Maccabi Haifa in 2023-24, participating in 50 matches and netting 14 goals across all competitions.
