Inter Milan Improves Offer for Israeli Winger Anan Khalaily Amid Transfer Talks
Inter Milan is nearing a decisive moment in their pursuit of Israeli winger Anan Khalaily from Union Saint-Gilloise. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter submitted an improved offer of 23 million euros plus future bonuses to the Belgian club on Wednesday, up from their previous 20 million euro bid which was rejected. However, Union Saint-Gilloise remains firm, demanding 30 million euros for the transfer.
Khalaily is eager to join Inter and has reportedly agreed on personal terms for a five-year contract worth 1.8 million euros per season. The main obstacle now lies in the negotiation between the two clubs. Meanwhile, Inter has also explored other options to strengthen their wing, including Strasbourg's Guéla Doué, but Khalaily remains their top priority.
Khalaily concluded the 2025/26 season as one of Union Saint-Gilloise's standout players, transitioning from an attacking winger to a versatile right-back. He made 46 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing five assists, including three goals in seven Champions League matches. His performances earned him a spot in ESPN's best XI for the group stage. If the deal is finalized, Khalaily would become the most expensive Israeli player in history.
