Israel Braces for Temperature Rise After Scattered Showers

Following scattered light rain and drizzle, particularly in northern Israel and the coastal plain on Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise back to seasonal averages early next week. Saturday saw temperatures below normal for this time of year, after a preceding day of rainfall across many parts of northern and central Israel. The highest rainfall amounts were recorded in the Galilee region, with 17 mm in Bar'am and 11 mm in Elon and Ayelet Hashahar. Mount Hermon and the northern Golan Heights received 10 mm in 24 hours, while other stations recorded single-digit millimeters. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem saw less than one millimeter of rain. While no significant temperature changes are expected on Saturday, Sunday will bring a slight increase, bringing temperatures closer to seasonal norms. Monday will feature partly cloudy skies in the morning, clearing to sunny conditions with a further slight temperature rise, especially in mountainous and inland areas. Tuesday is expected to see no significant change in temperatures. Forecasted high and low temperatures for Saturday include Jerusalem (17-27°C), Tel Aviv (24-30°C), Haifa (23-30°C), Safed (18-27°C), Katzrin (20-31°C), Tiberias (22-32°C), Nazareth (22-31°C), Afula (22-32°C), Beit She'an (24-36°C), Lod (22-31°C), Ashdod (23-30°C), Ein Gedi (25-33°C), Beersheba (21-31°C), Mitzpe Ramon (18-29°C), and Eilat (26-35°C).
