Israel Weather Forecast: Cooler Temperatures and Chance of Showers
Israel is expected to experience a noticeable drop in temperatures across the country on Friday, September 18th, with a more significant decrease inland and a slight cooling along the coast. "Drip" showers are possible in northern and central regions. Sea temperatures will remain warm, with the Mediterranean Sea reaching up to 30 degrees Celsius and experiencing moderate to stormy waves ranging from 60 to 170 cm. The Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) will also have water temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius, with weaker waves of 30 to 60 cm. The Red Sea in Eilat will be 28 degrees Celsius with slight waves of 20 to 40 cm. Daytime highs will range from 26°C in Jerusalem and Safed to 38°C in Eilat. Other cities like Tel Aviv, Netanya, and Ashdod will see highs around 30°C. Overnight lows will be in the high teens to mid-twenties. The weather is expected to remain similar on Saturday, with a slight increase in temperatures anticipated for Sunday.
