Toddler Dies After Falling Four Stories in Kiryat Yam
A toddler, approximately two years old, tragically died on Tuesday after falling from a height of about four stories in the northern Israeli city of Kiryat Yam. Emergency medical services received the call at 10:58 AM and quickly arrived at the scene. Paramedics provided initial medical treatment and transported the child to Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa in critical condition, performing ongoing resuscitation efforts.
Upon arrival at the hospital, medical teams in the emergency department and pediatric intensive care unit at Rambam worked to save the child's life. Despite their extensive efforts, they were ultimately forced to pronounce the toddler dead.
This incident marks the second fatality from a fall in recent hours. Earlier on Tuesday, a Haredi man died after falling from a yeshiva building in Bnei Brak.
