Toddler Critically Injured After Falling Four Stories in Kiryat Yam
A toddler approximately two years old fell from a height of about four stories in Kiryat Yam on Tuesday. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided emergency medical treatment, including resuscitation efforts, before transporting the child to Rambam Hospital. The child's condition is critical.
Moshe Amsalem, an MDA paramedic, described the scene as "a difficult incident," stating the child was unconscious, without a pulse or breathing upon their arrival. "We immediately began medical treatment including chest compressions, ventilation, and administering medication, and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital with a critical condition, and we continue to fight for his life," Amsalem said.
