Toddler Dies After Falling Four Stories in Kiryat Yam

A two-year-old child has died after falling from a height of four stories in Kiryat Yam, a city in northern Israel. The incident, which occurred around 10:57 AM on Tuesday, September 26th, is believed to have happened when the child fell from a window of a "mamad," a reinforced safe room common in Israeli homes. Emergency medical services were dispatched to the scene, where they found the toddler unconscious and without a pulse or breathing. Despite extensive resuscitation efforts, the child's death was pronounced at Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

In a tragic coincidence, a 20-year-old yeshiva student also died on the same day after falling from a height of four stories in Bnei Brak, a city east of Tel Aviv. The report of this incident was received by MDA emergency services at 11:07 AM. Paramedics arriving at the scene found the young man unconscious with no pulse or breathing and suffering from severe systemic injuries. They were unfortunately forced to pronounce his death at the scene.
