Toddler Critically Injured After Falling From Fourth-Floor Window in Kiryat Yam
A two-year-old boy is in critical condition after falling from a fourth-floor apartment window in Kiryat Yam on Thursday, September 17. Emergency services received the call at 10:57 AM and transported the child to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Paramedic Moshe Amsalem, who was first on the scene, reported that the child was unconscious and had no pulse or breathing upon his arrival.
Separately, on the same day, a 20-year-old yeshiva student died after falling from a four-story height in Bnei Brak. Magen David Adom (MDA) received the report at 11:07 AM. Paramedics Moshe Indig and Aaron Sharig arrived and pronounced the young man dead at the scene, stating that resuscitation efforts were impossible.
