Toddler Critically Injured After Falling Four Stories in Kiryat Yam
A two-year-old boy is in critical condition after falling approximately four stories in Kiryat Yam on Thursday morning. MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency medical services received the report at 10:57 AM and dispatched paramedics to the scene. They provided initial medical treatment, including resuscitation efforts, before transporting the child to Rambam Hospital.
"This is a difficult incident," said Moshe Amsalem, an MDA paramedic who was among the first responders. "A two-year-old boy was lying unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, after falling from a great height. We immediately began medical treatment, including chest compressions, ventilation, and administering medication. We evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital while his condition was critical, and we continue to fight for his life."
The boy's current condition is described as life-threatening, and medical teams are continuing to treat him at Rambam Hospital.
