Man Charged with Murdering 7-Year-Old Boy, Attempting to Kill Cousin
The prosecution has filed an indictment against Liel Ifargan, a 26-year-old resident of Beit Shemesh, for the murder of 7-year-old Hillel Mordechai Dadon and the attempted murder of his 4-year-old cousin. According to the indictment, Ifargan stabbed both children last month while they were playing in a pool in the backyard of a house in Beit Shemesh.
Hillel died from the stab wounds, while his cousin sustained injuries. Ifargan faces charges including intentional murder under aggravated circumstances, attempted murder, and causing severe injury under aggravated circumstances.
The prosecution has requested that the court order Ifargan's detention until the conclusion of legal proceedings against him.
