Man Charged with Murdering 7-Year-Old Boy in Jerusalem
The prosecution has filed an indictment against Liel Ifargan in the Jerusalem District Court for the aggravated murder of seven-year-old Hillel Mordechai Dadon and the attempted murder of his cousin. The indictment details that Ifargan, 26, stabbed both children in the chest and neck respectively during a birthday party in the backyard of a house in Jerusalem last month. According to the charges, the two boys were playing in the yard's pool when Ifargan emerged from a nearby housing unit where he resides, armed with a knife. He then allegedly stabbed Hillel in the chest and his cousin in the neck with intent to kill, before fleeing back to his unit and cleaning the knife of blood.
