Indictment Filed for Heinous Murder of Hillel Mordechai Dadon
The State Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against Liel Ifargan, 26, from Beit Shemesh, for the aggravated murder of Hillel Mordechai Dadon and the attempted murder of his cousin. The prosecution is requesting that Ifargan be held in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
According to the indictment, filed by attorney Yael Igra, the incident occurred last month. Ifargan and Dadon were playing in an inflatable pool in a backyard in Beit Shemesh. Ifargan emerged from a nearby housing unit armed with a knife, approached the pool, and stabbed Hillel in the chest and his cousin in the neck with the intent to kill.
Following the attack, Ifargan fled back to the unit and cleaned the blood from the knife. Hillel Mordechai Dadon succumbed to his injuries, while his cousin sustained severe wounds, requiring hospitalization for three days and surgery.
Ifargan faces charges including intentional murder under aggravated circumstances, attempted murder, and causing severe injury under aggravated circumstances.
