IDF and Shin Bet Disrupt Hamas Terror Infrastructure, Seize Rocket
In a joint operation, Israeli security forces dismantled a Hamas terror infrastructure and discovered a rocket in the Palestinian village of Aqabah, located within the operational area of the Menashe Brigade. The operation, led by the IDF and guided by the Shin Bet, involved soldiers from the IDF and the elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit.
During the morning operation on Sunday, security forces apprehended ten Hamas operatives who were allegedly involved in planning terror attacks against Israeli civilians. The forces also located a rocket without a launcher, which was immediately destroyed.
Following interrogations, one of the apprehended operatives revealed the location of hidden weapons, including an M16 rifle and explosives intended for bomb manufacturing. These weapons were also destroyed on-site.
The Israeli security forces stated they will continue proactive counter-terrorism operations throughout the Judea and Samaria Division to ensure the safety of residents and Israeli citizens.
