Israeli Forces Capture 10 Hamas Militants, Seize Rocket and Explosives
Israeli security forces, in a joint operation led by the Shin Bet and involving the IDF and the Border Police (YAMAM), conducted a counter-terrorism operation in the village of Aqaba, in the Menashe Brigade's area of command, on Sunday morning. During the operation, the forces apprehended a terror infrastructure consisting of ten Hamas militants who were allegedly planning terror attacks against Israeli civilians.
An unlaunched rocket was discovered and destroyed by the forces. Following interrogation, one of the captured militants revealed the location of hidden weapons, including an M16 rifle and a significant quantity of explosives intended for bomb manufacturing. These materials were also immediately destroyed on-site. The operation aimed to disrupt terror activities and prevent attacks against Israeli citizens.
