Israeli Forces Raid West Bank Village, Arrest 10 Hamas Operatives, Find Rocket
Israeli special forces, operating under intelligence from the Shin Bet and in coordination with the IDF's Menashe Brigade, conducted a large-scale operation overnight in the village of Aqaba, north of the West Bank city of Nablus. The raid targeted Hamas terror infrastructure in the area.
During the operation, the elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit and IDF soldiers arrested ten Hamas operatives. The detainees were reportedly involved in advancing terror plans and organizing terror activities within the village.
As searches were carried out, forces discovered a rocket without a launcher. Following interrogation by the IDF, one of the arrested operatives revealed the location of hidden weapons, including an M16 rifle and a significant quantity of explosives intended for bomb construction.
The rocket, weapons, and explosives were neutralized and destroyed on-site by bomb disposal technicians from the Border Police's Judea and Samaria division.
