Israeli Forces Arrest 10 Hamas Operatives, Seize Rocket and Explosives in West Bank
Israeli security forces, including the elite Yamam counter-terrorism unit and the IDF, apprehended ten Hamas operatives in the village of Aqaba in the Samaria region overnight. The operation, guided by the Shin Bet security agency, also resulted in the discovery of a rocket without a launcher.
During interrogations, one of the arrested operatives revealed the location of hidden weapons, including M16 rifles and a significant quantity of explosives intended for bomb manufacturing. Explosives disposal experts from the Border Police in Judea and Samaria safely neutralized the rocket, weapons, and explosives on-site.
The operation targeted Hamas infrastructure in the West Bank, aiming to disrupt terrorist activities and prevent attacks. The arrests and seizures are part of ongoing efforts by Israeli security forces to counter threats emanating from the region.
