Israeli Security Forces Arrest Dozens of Suspects in West Bank Operation Following Terror Attacks

In a large-scale offensive operation across the West Bank, hundreds of Border Police, IDF soldiers, and Shin Bet agents arrested dozens of wanted suspects. The operation was launched in response to recent terror attacks over the past weekend, including the murders of Binyahu Malat and Lieutenant Colonel Yuval Ezra. The operation was commanded by Nisso Guetta, commander of the Border Police in Judea and Samaria, and coordinated with the IDF and Shin Bet.

The security forces focused on thwarting terrorism, arresting suspects involved in terror activities, incitement, stone-throwing, and disturbances, while also protecting settlements and traffic routes throughout the region. The Border Police units involved included all Judea and Samaria battalions, the elite undercover unit "Mista'arvim," the sabotage unit, and the investigative and intelligence department.

Eight of the suspects were arrested in targeted operations by the Mista'arvim unit under Shin Bet guidance. Concurrently, forces were deployed to secure settlements, protect transportation routes, and provide rapid responses to incidents. Commander Guetta emphasized the mission's clarity: to apprehend every terrorist and anyone threatening Israeli civilians, pledging continued, determined, and professional operations alongside all security forces to prevent terror and safeguard residents.

The operation reflects ongoing efforts by Israeli security agencies to maintain stability and security in the West Bank amid heightened tensions and recent deadly attacks.
