Netanyahu Declares Iran's Regime Change Within Reach

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday that the downfall of Iran's regime is an achievable goal. Speaking at a Rosh Hashanah toast in Tel Aviv with Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and members of the General Staff Forum, Netanyahu asserted that the current Iranian regime is weak and fighting for its survival.

Netanyahu highlighted historical achievements made during the "War of Uprising" and since operations "Roar of the Lion" and "With the Lion," emphasizing that these successes have secured Israel's continued existence. He recalled the existential threat posed by Iran's nuclear ambitions and stated that Israel has successfully distanced itself from this danger, along with other threats.

"This regime is currently faltering. It is weaker than ever. It is fighting for its life," Netanyahu declared. He expressed strong confidence in the capabilities of Israeli soldiers, pilots, navigators, and the home front, believing they can permanently remove the threat by toppling the Iranian regime. "This is the central mission that still lies before us, but it is close. It is not impossible. It is within reach."

Concluding his remarks, Netanyahu addressed Israel's enemies, warning them against engaging with the nation. He emphasized Israel's strength, determination, and internal unity, wishing the people of Israel a good year and success in overcoming adversaries.
