Netanyahu Declares Regime Change in Iran Within Reach

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday that overthrowing the Iranian regime is Israel's central mission and is now within reach. He made these remarks during a Rosh Hashanah toast at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv, attended by Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and members of the General Staff Forum.

Netanyahu discussed the ongoing campaign against Iran, highlighting what he described as historic achievements by Israel in recent years. He asserted that Israel has countered the existential threat posed by the Iranian regime's pursuit of nuclear weapons. "What has been achieved in the three years of the 'War of the Uprising' and since 'The Lion's Roar,' and even before that with 'With the Lion,' are historic achievements that ensure our continued existence," Netanyahu said.

He further claimed that Israel's actions have pushed back the Iranian threat, weakening the Tehran regime significantly. "This regime is currently faltering. It is weaker than ever. It is fighting for its life," Netanyahu stated. He expressed confidence in Israel's ability to permanently eliminate this threat by toppling the regime, calling it a close and achievable goal.

The Prime Minister praised the capabilities of the IDF, security forces, and the home front, emphasizing their role in confronting threats. He specifically commended soldiers, pilots, navigators, and the Israeli public.

Concluding his remarks, Netanyahu issued a direct warning to Israel's enemies amidst regional tensions. "They know our strength, our might, and our determination," he said. "I tell our enemies, do not mess with us. If you have learned anything, do not mess with us. We have the power, the determination, and the internal unity to overcome you." He ended by wishing the people of Israel a happy new year.
