Netanyahu Declares Overthrowing Iran's Regime Top Priority
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that overthrowing the Iranian regime is the central mission still ahead for Israel, asserting that it is "close" and "within reach." Netanyahu made these remarks during a Rosh Hashanah toast with Defense Minister Israel Katz, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, and members of the General Staff Forum at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv.
"I am convinced of our ability to remove the threat once and for all and to overthrow the regime in Iran, which is fighting for its life," Netanyahu declared. He addressed Israel's enemies, stating, "Don't mess with us. We have the strength, the determination, and the internal unity to overcome you."
According to Netanyahu, the Iranian regime is currently "stumbling" and "weaker than ever." He reiterated that toppling the regime is the main task remaining but emphasized its attainability, calling it "not impossible" and "within reach."
