Netanyahu Vows to Overthrow Iranian Regime, Cites Israeli Operations

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared in an interview with i24NEWS that Israel is actively working towards the downfall of the Iranian regime, stating, "We will bring down this regime. It will fall, we will make it fall. It is already on shaky legs anyway." Netanyahu asserted that all Israeli systems, under his direction, are engaged in operations aimed at achieving this objective. He made these remarks during a special interview with Nova Drori of i24NEWS, who accompanied him during a day that included preparations in his Jerusalem office, a helicopter flight to the south, a security discussion in the Gaza Division, and a tour of southern cities. During the interview, Netanyahu addressed both the confrontation with Iran and the situation in the Gaza Strip. He indicated that Israeli pilots have operated in Iran and could do so at any moment, emphasizing that the work to dismantle the "octopus head" of the "axis of evil" is not yet complete. Regarding Gaza, Netanyahu claimed that Israel currently has absolute control over more than 60% of the territory. He outlined Israel's objectives in Gaza as "dismantling, disarming, evacuating where necessary, and also preventing Gaza from again becoming a threat to Israel," adding that these goals have largely been achieved. When asked if another prime minister might handle the Iran issue after future elections, Netanyahu responded that it is "the public's choice."
