Netanyahu's Wife Threatens Lawsuit Against Opposition Leader Golan
Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has responded to a legal warning letter sent by opposition leader Yair Golan, threatening a lawsuit. Golan had accused her of "echoing conspiracy theories and slanderous and false statements."
In her response, Sara Netanyahu called Golan's claims "wild lies" and demanded a public apology, clarification, and deep remorse for allegedly distorting her words. She also referenced an incident on March 1, 2023, where she claims she was subjected to a "siege and imprisonment" at a hair salon.
Furthermore, Netanyahu demanded the removal of publications and a payment of 100,000 shekels within 48 hours, related to the Bnei David pre-military academy in Eli. If Golan fails to comply, she stated she will sue him for 1 million shekels.
