Israeli Broadcaster Slams Sara Netanyahu's Conspiracy Theory About Yair Golan

Radio host Eyal Berkovich strongly criticized Sara Netanyahu on Tuesday for promoting a conspiracy theory about Yair Golan, the chairman of the Meretz party. Speaking on 103fm radio, Berkovich questioned why Netanyahu would tarnish Golan's reputation, calling the theory "ugly" and "exaggerated nonsense."

Berkovich's co-host, Erel Segal, agreed that Netanyahu's comments were "unnecessary" and "very bad." He suggested Netanyahu's animosity towards Golan stems from a past incident at a barbershop and Golan's controversial remarks about IDF soldiers. However, Segal acknowledged Golan's actions on October 7th, stating, "on October 7th, Yair Golan went out to fight."

Netanyahu's remarks were made during an interview on Channel 14 the previous evening. She implied that Golan, who heads the Democratic party, had prior knowledge of the October 7th Hamas attack. Netanyahu suggested Golan was "dressed and ready" early that morning, "when others didn't know, such as the Prime Minister."
