IDF Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon AfterIED Attack
The Israeli military conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon earlier today, in response to an explosive device detonating near an IDF engineering vehicle in the same area. The blast injured two Israeli soldiers lightly, who were evacuated for medical treatment and whose families were notified.
Immediately following the incident, the IDF targeted several "terrorist infrastructures" in southern Lebanon. These included observation posts and facilities used by Hezbollah operatives to advance and execute terror attacks against Israeli forces.
The IDF stated that its forces remain deployed in southern Lebanon in accordance with an agreement and will continue to operate to remove threats to Israeli civilians and soldiers. The military vowed to continue acting forcefully against repeated Hezbollah attempts to harm its forces.
