Two Israeli Soldiers Lightly Wounded in Southern Lebanon Bombing
The Israeli military announced that two soldiers sustained minor injuries when an explosive device detonated near an engineering vehicle in southern Lebanon on Tuesday. Both soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment and their families were notified.
In response to the attack, the Israeli military stated it launched retaliatory strikes against several Hezbollah infrastructure sites across southern Lebanon. These targets included observation posts and facilities that the military claimed Hezbollah elements used to plan and execute attacks against Israeli forces.
The military added that its forces remain deployed in the security zone in southern Lebanon in accordance with agreements. It affirmed its commitment to continuing operations to neutralize threats targeting Israeli citizens and military personnel.
