IDF Soldiers Injured in Lebanon; Israel Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure
Two Israeli soldiers were lightly injured on Saturday when an engineering vehicle belonging to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a Hezbollah explosive device in the security zone in southern Lebanon. The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment, and their families were notified.
Immediately following the incident, the IDF launched a wave of strikes targeting several Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites across multiple areas in southern Lebanon. Among the targets destroyed were observation posts and infrastructure used by militants to advance terror plans against IDF forces.
The IDF stated that its forces remain deployed in the area in accordance with agreements and will continue to operate forcefully to neutralize any threats and thwart Hezbollah's attempts to attack. The military released footage of the strikes, attributed to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.
