IDF Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon After Deadly Explosion Kills Two Soldiers
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched attacks on multiple Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites across southern Lebanon within the past 24 hours. This military response followed an explosion in Majdal Zun that killed two reserve officers, Major (res.) Harel Birnstok and Captain (res.) Tamir Kanan, and severely injured four other soldiers. The IDF targeted weapons storage facilities, a command center, and additional terror-related infrastructure. Israeli forces remain deployed in southern Lebanon in accordance with existing agreements.
