Israeli Ex-Soldier Dies in Paragliding Crash in Colombia
A 21-year-old former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldier died in Colombia after his paraglider lost control and crashed in a wooded area near Medellin. The young Israeli, who had recently completed his military service, was on a post-army trip, a common practice for many young Israelis. The incident occurred near a cliff face, with preliminary reports suggesting the paraglider suddenly became uncontrollable. The Israeli sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
