Israeli Arab Charged with Planning Attack on Amdocs Data Center
An indictment was filed Thursday against Mustafa Issa, a 20-year-old Israeli Arab citizen from Kafr Qasim, for allegedly planning a terrorist attack against the data center of technology giant Amdocs in Ra'anana. Issa is accused of offenses against state security motivated by nationalism.
According to the indictment, Issa researched methods to carry out the attack, including planting an explosive device or dropping one via a drone. He allegedly acquired materials and conducted reconnaissance of the Amdocs facility.
The Shin Bet security agency and Israel Police were involved in the investigation that led to the indictment. Issa faces charges related to planning a terror attack and actions that endanger state security.
