Kfar Qassem Man Charged With Planning Amdocs Server Farm Attack
Israeli prosecutors have filed an indictment against a 20-year-old resident of Kfar Qassem, Mustafa Issa, for planning a terror attack against the Amdocs server farm in Ra'anana. The indictment, filed in the Lod District Court, charges Issa with offenses against state security motivated by nationalism.
According to the charges, following the outbreak of the "Swords of Iron" war, Issa decided to carry out a terror attack against a strategic target by planting an explosive device or dropping one via a drone. To achieve this, he volunteered with the fire and rescue services, using his activities to scout and gather information on potential targets.
Issa ultimately decided to focus his planned attack on the Amdocs computer server farm in Ra'anana, believing that damaging it would cause severe diplomatic and economic harm to Israel. He was arrested by the Shin Bet security agency.
